Chapel Cover Shore

This cooperative conservation initiative between Southern Maryland RC&D and the Navy resulted in the stabilization of 600 linear feet of eroding shoreline, creation of 0.5 acres of new wildlife habitat that benefited endangered species. Additionally, the site was treated for invasive species. Southern Maryland RC&D provided contract and funding administration services. The project was completed on September 1, 2005.
