Solomons Marina Repair

This project stabilized shoreline while improving access and recreational opportunities at the Solomons Navy Recreation Center, Solomons Island, Calvert County. The project involved the repair of a 2,200 feet long by six feet wide recreational pier system, replacement of 100 feet of wooden bulkhead with vinyl sheet piles and the addition of a stone revetment 325 feet long by 20 feet wide. Southern Maryland RC&D provided contract and fund administration services. The project was completed on January 19, 2005.
