West Cuddihy Stream Stabilization

This project involved retrofitting an existing stormwater detention basin with a drainage area of six acres, installing a new stormwater management pond at the stream head, repair/installation of numerous flood control structures and the stabilization of a severely eroding gully at the Pax River Naval Air Station, Charles County. The project resulted in considerable sediment reduction and 1,000 linear feet stream restoration. The project was completed on March, 30 2006.
