Charles County Watershed Restoration Action Strategies – Port Tobacco River Watershed

Working with a broad array of partners from within the Port Tobacco River Watershed, including Maryland Cooperative Extension, Charles County government, Town of La Plata Government, Center for Watershed Protection and Port Tobacco River Conservancy, Southern Maryland RC&D has joined the Watershed Rapid Action Strategy Steering Committee and is providing technical services to facilitate the development of a watershed management plan.

WRAS-1
The WRAS Visioning Workshop held September 18th, 2006. This group is being facilitated by Karen Wiggen from the Town of La Plata.

WRAS-2
The September 18th workshop was so well attended that work groups overflowed into the hallway.
