Southern Maryland Meats Business Plan Development

Southern Maryland RC&D is providing support for local livestock producers, trading under the name Southern Maryland Meats, in the development and ultimate implementation of a professional feasibility study and business plan. Southern Maryland Meats is seeking to develop local capacity for slaughtering, processing and direct-marketing locally produced meat.  Southern Maryland RC&D recently acquired a $20,000 Rural Business Enterprise Grant from Rural Development to facilitate this project.
