  syndicate.article_summary[ syndicate.index ] = 'Construction is complete on 5,000 linear feet of shoreline as part of RC&D&#8223;s partnership with the Charles Soil Conservation District to implement erosion control and shoreline stabilization at Naval Support Facility Indian Head.  To finalize the project, however, RC&D has partnered with the National Aquarium of Baltimore to plant approximately 1,500 trees, 50 shrubs, and 17,200 wetland plugs with help from the Maryland Conservation Corps, Charles County Master Gardeners, and other volunteers. Heavy rain that morning reduced the number of riders to 248 from the expected 600. Fortunately, the rain stopped at about 8 am, and the riders enjoyed the ride, with much of the route being along the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail from Indian Head to Chapel Point. ';
