The Southern Maryland Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Board, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation serving the Southern Maryland counties of Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s. Working with a variety of partners, and with assistance from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, we are working hard to make Southern Maryland a better place to live, work and play.
Since our establishment in 1971 we have completed hundreds of conservation, agriculture and community development projects in the region. Our partners and sponsors include private citizens, community associations, local businesses, schools, fire and rescue squads, Soil and Water Conservation Districts, nonprofits and local, State and Federal agencies. If you would like more information about our how you can work with Southern Maryland RC&D, please contact us.
There are currently three RC&D Councils serving Maryland and one RC&D Council serving Delaware. For more information on Western Maryland RC&D, Delaware’s First State RC&D, and Maryland Eastern Shore RC&D please visit their websites.
