

Cindy Greb
Executive Director
Cindy Greb has served as RC&D’s Executive Director since 2014 where she works collaboratively with federal, state, and local partners to provide for effective planning, design, development, construction, and maintenance of environmental and community projects in Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s Counties. Not only did Cindy grow up in St. Mary’s County, it’s where she earned her college degree, and chose to raise her two sons. Cindy studied Landscape Architecture at Rutger’s University, graduated from St. Mary’s College of MD with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, and studied Urban Land Planning at Harvard Graduate School of Design. She has more than 35 years of experience working in the environmental engineering and site development field, contract negotiations, code compliance, and more recently, with NAVFAC on environmental and natural resource projects through RC&D. Cindy holds several certifications, including the US Army Corp of Engineer’s Construction Quality Management for Contractors. Since her time at RC&D, Cindy has been able to effectively leverage innovative partnerships - diversifying and strengthening RC&D’s role in the community. Through RC&D, she is able to help protect our natural resources while also protecting the military’s mission in our community, and in our state. She continues to successfully administer RC&D’s extensive portfolio of Cooperative Agreements and MOUs, with her successes being recognized from the local level up to the national level. Cindy has been very involved in the community her entire life - volunteering her time and serving on various Boards - including MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation, Historic Sotterley Plantation, St. Mary’s County Community Development Corporation, and many other zoning / development related task forces. She is currently serving her 7th year on the MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital Scholarship Committee.
